The UK government has started a review of national gambling laws, which is likely to lead to the introduction of a new gambling law. The new measures could include stricter restrictions on sponsorship and advertising of games of chance, e.g. B. that gambling providers are no longer allowed to advertise on the jerseys of sports teams or other visible parts of their equipment. It is worth noting that Italy has already passed strict laws in this area and Spain will follow suit. Details on Spain’s proposal can be found in a post posted on our sister blog Sports Shorts.
