On the right, Michael Renteria (D-Deming) is sworn in and takes the oath of office as district attorney for the sixth judicial district of New Mexico.  Renteria was elected in November and will serve the triangle (Luna, Hidalgo and Grant).  He was sworn in to the left by Ray Baese, Luna County Magistrate Justice.  There are only 13 prosecutors in New Mexico, making it one of the most important positions in the state.
