State legal professional contemplating murder expenses for suspects who allegedly drugged and raped Miami Seashore vacationer

MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – The two men accused of drugging, raping and robbing a tourist who was later found dead in her hotel room could face additional charges.

Christine Englehardt would have turned 25 last Thursday.

Her loved ones spent Christine’s birthday at her grave.

“You know she was the only child from her parents and they are still beside themselves, they miss her so much,” said the family friend, Michael Sydney.

It has been almost four months since the young woman in town was found dead in her Miami Beach hotel room for spring break.

21-year-old Evorie Collier and 24-year-old Dorian Taylor are accused of drugging, raping and robbing them.

A surveillance video from Local 10 News shows the two men walking to their hotel, where investigators said they took turns having sex with her.

Detectives believe the two men met Englehardt in a restaurant and admitted they gave her a green pill that, according to coroners, may have now led to her death.

Englehardt’s toxicology report, received by Local 10 News, shows that her cause of death was partially due to fentanyl, which was also found in two green pills obtained as evidence by the suspects.

The report added that she couldn’t breathe either, saying:

“Although the proven concentration of fentanyl is fatal, a component of positional asphyxia in which your face is pressed into soft bed to ease sexual assault due to physical restraint and / or chemical impairment cannot be ruled out.”

“We have to make sure the sentence fits, all the pain that has been caused to so many people by losing their lives,” said Sydney.

The two suspects have yet to be charged with the death of this Englehardt.

After the court opinion report was released, prosecutors told Local 10 News that they were considering a murder charge.
