“Thanksgiving is here. We all agree that this year wasn’t exactly the year we hoped or expected, but the challenges highlighted the many things we can truly be thankful for.
For one, I am very grateful for the exceptional work and dedication of my entire team in the prosecution for everything they do every day to make our community a safer place to live, work and raise our families. The team’s ability and willingness to face and adapt to the “new normal” while the wheels of Smart Justice keep moving is more than inspiring.
I am grateful to everyone in our community who has shown us their support and trust despite the challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. By working together, we can keep our community safe and improve the lives of our children, victims, Witnesses, and their families.
Therefore, on this Thanksgiving Day, it is more important than ever to focus on our blessings and to be grateful for everything and everyone that brings us joy. I wish you and your loved ones a meaningful and happy Thanksgiving Day.
