Mr. Beglis advises clients on family law, estate planning and guardianship / conservatory cases and leads their mediation practice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Beglis owned a law firm, Beglis Law PLLC, for nearly eight years.

Mr. Beglis began his legal career in Loudoun County, where he practiced exclusively criminal defense and traffic defense. He gained valuable trial and courtroom experience before moving to a small law firm in Fairfax, specializing in divorce and family law matters of all kinds and handling all of the firm’s estate planning cases.
James is from Northern Virginia and is deeply involved in the community. He is a member of the Loudoun County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Bench Bar Committee and the Family Law and Trust and Estate Sections of the Virginia State Bar. He is also involved in the involuntary engagement hearings, including hearing cases, of adults in Loudoun County and trains Regular law enforcement officers to the process of involuntary engagement. In addition, James served for several years as a certified Guardian Ad Litem for children, is a member of the non-profit Knights of Columbus and has coached his children’s soccer teams for years. James received a JD from George Mason University School of Law and a BA from the University of Virginia. James is admitted to the Virginia bar and is a Virginia bar.
