In addition, the lawsuit alleges that the defendant did not pay the plaintiff and other California group members enough sick pay because she did not pay those wages in addition to their regular wages. The plaintiff received a voluntary bonus that was allegedly not included in the regular wage rate, which led to an alleged underpayment of sick pay.
