A California crusade attorney famous for his involvement in the Erin Brockovitch case was accused by his estranged reality TV star wife of having an affair with a federal judge.
Tom Girardi, 81, is in the middle of a bloody divorce with pop singer Erika Jayne, 49, whom he married in 2000 after meeting as a waitress at his club.
On Friday, Jayne posted on Instagram allegations that Giraldi had a month-long affair with Justice Tricia A. Bigelow, a former Assistant Attorney General for California who has chaired the Second District Court of Appeals, Division Eight, since February 2010.
Jayne also shared a number of text messages that she claims were sent between her husband and Bigalow that mentioned “makeup sex” and sometimes signed “xoxo”.
Jayne, a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, filed for divorce from Girardi on Nov. 3, believing he had “several matters”.

Jayne shared screenshots of text messages that she said were between the two in the since-deleted post.
‘I miss you sweetheart. Makeup sex? ‘Read one of Bigelow’s alleged text messages sent in July while another wondered how “fantastic” her night with the savvy lawyer was.
Some of the sexually charged messages contained photos, including the back of a pair of blue jeans.
Another, apparently from Bigelow, read: ‘[Department store] has her special where you get a gift card based on your spending. Is it okay if i spend? ‘May I help you? Signed [BLANK]. ‘

Regarding Girardi’s profession, one of the texts wished the lawyer a “good night candy” and reminded him to “check this temperament on the booth tomorrow” and that he is “right”.
One of the final screenshots showed a full bodied photo of a woman who could have been Bigelow, posing on a bed, face in hand and legs in the air.
In a September message, Bigelow told Girardi about her ‘new boyfriend’ and added, ‘He’s got big dough’.
Bigelow was engaged in 2010 to marry a deputy chief of the Los Angeles Fire Department: it was unclear whether she was still married.
Neither Bigelow nor Girardi responded to DailyMail.com requests for comment, and Girardi’s corporate website appeared to have closed.
The chapter marks the recent embarrassment of the legal titan who was a leading figure in California politics and entertainment for decades.
As a major Democratic donor, he has friends of California Governor Gavin Newsom and predecessor Jerry Brown, and held a fundraiser for Joe Biden last year.

“Suddenly I was part of a very public victory that many people understood,” recalled Girardi earlier this year in an interview with a professional association that honored him.

The money soon flowed into his Girardi Keese company: by 2001, his monthly income, according to the divorce petition, was nearly $ 263,000, and Girardi retained 100 percent of the company.
