Duggar News continues to gather full details of Josh Duggar’s arrest. As early as November 2019, Homeland Security searched the car park Josh works in – and this raid clearly appears to be linked to Josh’s alleged crimes in 2021. An affidavit from Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Gerald Faulkner states that FBI officials visited wholesale motorcars to confiscate the computer, allegedly having downloaded child sexual abuse content. They strongly believe Josh did the download.
So far, Josh has pleaded not guilty. The judge originally scheduled the trial for July 2021, but his defense team asked for it to be postponed until well into 2022. The judge ruled that he could postpone the trial until November 2021. But some supporters of the Duggar family believe that Jim Bob Duggar, Josh’s father, will prevent Josh from going to trial. Many suspect that Jim Bob will encourage Josh to make a plea deal. Legal proceedings can further damage the family’s name and reputation.
Duggar News: Lawyers say unnecessary photos were taken during the arrest
In recent news from Josh Duggar, his defense team has now requested that the photos of Josh taken during his arrest not be presented during the trial. According to Insider, Josh’s team filed a motion asking the judge to remove the photos. The photos allegedly show Josh’s hands and feet during his arrest.
According to the defense team, the authorities did not have an arrest warrant to take the photos. They then determined, “Duggar’s body parts have been tampered with and he had to pose for the photos” after Josh “gave up as directed”. In addition, Josh’s defense team found that the photos violated Josh’s rights.
This news comes after his defense team argued with prosecutors over a screenshot. Inside notes, the screenshot reportedly showed how three police officers from three Arkansas police departments also downloaded the sexual abuse images from Josh’s same dealership IP address. But only Little Rock Police contacted agents about their alleged results.
Did Josh Duggar’s wife know about his alleged crimes?
Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna Duggar, has not responded publicly to the Duggar news regarding her husband’s alleged crimes. While other members of the Duggar family commented on Josh’s arrest, Anna remained suspiciously calm on social media. Current rumors suggest she continues to spend time with Josh at his host family’s home. Additionally, rumor has it that her family will take care of the couple’s six children while she stays with Josh.
Anna spends most of her time with Josh at the Rebers, and her family stepped in to raise all of their children, ”a source told The Sun. “She takes them to visit him or they are looked after while she is there alone. Despite everything he has been charged with, she refuses to believe that he is guilty. “
